The Khel Khel Mein Foundation(KKMF) is a Delhi-based charitable institution dedicated to revolutionising grassroots sports culture in India by providi Read moreng children from marginalised communities with opportunities to play multiple sports. Launched in 2013 by a Teach for India Fellow, the initiative started with a football event that engaged 700 kids across 19 schools. Since then, the KKMF has expanded to work with over 10,000 children in 80 schools through multiple programmes. It is guided by its core principles of "Play, Perform, and Prosper," which provide a direction for the foundation's mission of facilitating children's holistic growth through sports. "Play" refers to the provision of quality sports and physical education training to children in schools. "Perform" entails exposing children to varied chances to display their talents through competitive sports events. Finally, "Prosper" seeks to promote children's emotional and physical development, including leadership, accountability, and responsibility.
