The First Drop Change Foundation originated from the establishment of First Drop Theatre LLP in 2015. Using Applied Theatre and Expressive Arts in imm Read moreersive sessions, especially in corporate, healthcare, and educational settings, it explores thinking modes beyond cognition. These interventions showcased how Applied Theatre can bring about significant change in individuals and groups. Apart from tailored projects, the team engaged globally through the interactive format of Playback theatre. The foundation envisions leveraging Applied Theatre and Expressive Arts to enrich self-awareness, emotional intelligence, life skills, and interpersonal relationships. Theatre acts as a medium for both community and individual healing, including rehabilitation. Through funded initiatives, the foundation aims to partner with diverse groups, including the underprivileged, to promote awareness, vital skills, and interpersonal unity. Performance venues offer opportunities for audiences to interact with societal issues, influencing workshop content and learning experiences.

Interwoven Threads Programme
Interwoven Threads, an Arts for Good initiative supported by the Singapore International Foundation, marked a joint effort between First Drop Change Foundation and Playback Theatre practitioners from Singapore. Involving performers from both nations, including individuals with disabilities, the project was designed to foster diversity in performance and enhance multicultural understanding. The collaborative endeavour aimed to weave together a rich tapestry of experiences, transcending boundaries and promoting inclusivity through the transformative power of theatre.

Crossing Over Programme
Crossing Over, a healthcare sector initiative, delves into discussions surrounding death, focusing on the conflicts and conversations during the end-of-life phase for the terminally ill. This project sheds light on the perspectives of various stakeholders, including medical staff, caregivers, patient counsellors, and family members. Through a series of small plays derived from the Bangalore Hospice Trust's published book (Karunashraya), it aims to bring awareness to essential yet often overlooked conversations. The interactive element, using Playback Theatre, engages the audience to process the intense emotions evoked by the plays.
