  • Promoting Women's Holistic Health and Wellness

Since 2013, the organisation has been consistently organizing structured health and wellness camps across various cities, villages in Delhi NCR, and numerous other locations nationwide. The primary goal is to inspire women and girls to cultivate self-discipline and determination, enhancing their awareness and attentiveness. These camps have significantly assisted women in effectively managing hormonal imbalances, pregnancy-related concerns, hypertension, and autoimmune conditions. Women are now more knowledgeable about the risks of ovarian and cervical cancer, along with other gynecological issues. During these workshops, DAF educates women about the significance of maintaining good health and personal hygiene.

  • Yoga for women

As a medical professional, Dr. Archika deeply understands the significance of maintaining robust physical and mental health in the current hectic and often unhealthy lifestyle. Consequently, she has implemented a specialized yoga program geared towards women and youth. This schedule comprises diverse sessions addressing various topics to enhance the mental and physical well-being of women. The Dr. Archika Foundation consistently hosts complimentary yoga camps, specifically tailored for women and youth.

  • Widow welfare scheme

The Widow Welfare Scheme aims to assist widowed women classified under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. This initiative supports over 250 widows by providing them with monthly groceries. The focus is to ensure these women and their families have access to sufficient and nutritious food. Essential items such as cereals, pulses, flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil, tea, spices, and more are distributed under this program.

  • Project gift a vision

In collaboration with Karuna Sindhu Charitable Hospital, DAF organized a free eye check-up camp in Delhi NCR, drawing a significant number of participants across various age groups. During these screenings, the medical professionals identified cataract cases in several individuals and recommended surgeries for some. Additionally, the doctors offered guidance on maintaining healthy eyes.
Through its efforts, the foundation has ensured that more than 200 individuals received treatment for cataracts and squint eye issues, while over 300 patients have undergone cornea transplants and Lasik operations.

  • Blood donation camps

The Dr. Archika Foundation actively contributes to this cause through regular blood donation camps and awareness campaigns, collaborating with several blood banks for support.
Such initiatives involve sending buses to remote regions to aid cancer patients and children affected by Haemoglobinopathies (thalassemia and sickle cell disease), facilitating blood transfusions. Additionally, it conducts screening programs, distributes information, and engages in awareness activities to mitigate the risks associated with these conditions.
In a blood donation camp held in Hyderabad, over 300 individuals generously donated blood, resulting in the collection of approximately 300 units of blood. Similarly, another camp organized in Delhi's New Ashok Nagar specifically assisted cancer and thalassemia patients.

  • Food and nutrition workshops

DAF conducts regular food and nutrition camps across the Delhi NCR region, specifically aimed at reaching impoverished and less educated women. These awareness camps serve as a platform to impart essential knowledge about the significance of incorporating nutrient-rich foods into their diets.
During these sessions, women receive guidance on identifying easily accessible sources of nutrition within their households. This knowledge empowers them to prioritize their health as well as that of their children and other family members. Collaborating with nutritionists, these workshops effectively raise awareness among women regarding the crucial role of good nutrition.

  • Hara Bhara Bharat: Tree Plantation Drives

Since 2014, thousands of trees have been planted across Delhi NCR, aiming to augment the region's forest cover. Volunteers committed to this cause regularly plant saplings and encourage the community to donate trees instead of money or other materials in temple areas.
DAF actively raises awareness about the detrimental impacts of deforestation and actively engages people in tree plantation initiatives. These efforts are dedicated to replenishing green spaces around cities, enhancing air quality, and curbing pollution. The participation in these drives has been extensive, encompassing individuals of all ages - men, women, and children.
Encouraging urban residents to take ownership and organize such drives regularly in their respective areas, DAF continues to inspire participants to plant trees abundantly in their communities.

  • Meditation and yogic living

DAF has been conducting meditation sessions across major cities in India and globally since its inception. These sessions, initially rolled out gradually, have now expanded exponentially, encompassing nearly all parts of the country.
The primary objective of this program is to cultivate self-discipline and self-confidence, leading to a heightened state of consciousness for a fulfilling life. Through DAF's sessions, individuals seeking mental rejuvenation experience a sense of relaxation and inner peace. DAF guides individuals in managing chronic ailments through yoga and meditation practices. An average of 500-700 individuals attend these sessions regularly and benefit from them. Over 700 free yoga and meditation camps have been conducted, in addition to regular free yoga classes held at DAF centers.

  • Waste management

The Waste Management program orchestrated by DAF encompasses various campaigns designed to effectively manage waste for the development of sustainable and habitable cities. The primary objective is to instil an understanding of waste segregation at its source through the waste management initiatives. Through these campaigns, DAF educates individuals about the significance of segregating waste into three categories: biodegradable (wet waste), non-biodegradable (dry waste), and domestic hazardous waste (e-waste). DAF encourages households and institutions to adopt the practice of segregating waste at its source, transforming it into a resource that can be recycled. This program aims to foster awareness among people and markets about waste segregation and proper disposal.
