The core areas of focus encompass counselling, research, and raising awareness about mental health issues. The objective is to construct a public health model that extends the reach of fundamental mental health interventions. Significant obstacles to accessing mental healthcare, such as stigma, treatment costs, limited awareness, and insufficient research on therapies, exist. The aim is to overcome these hurdles, fostering a community dedicated to mental health, for and by individuals passionate about mental well-being. Key principles • Elevate the importance of mental health as a primary concern. • Establish a supportive community fostering open discussions about mental well-being. • Develop inventive approaches to support underprivileged individuals lacking accessible mental health resources. • Forge a model encouraging self-reliance and independence among individuals, empowering those with mental health disorders to recognize their valuable roles within mainstream society.

We want to bridge this gap and create a community for mental health about mental health and by people passionate about mental health.

• Telephonic counselling effectiveness study - Implementation Research
• Project Vatawriksha: examining psychiatric treatments' impact on elderly mental health through community health workers - implementation research
• Project Ekalavya: a rural-based rehabilitation initiative for individuals with schizophrenia and their caregivers
• Journal Club: The inaugural session featured a discussion on the initial psychological implications of COVID-19 from the PLOS ONE journal. This club aims to build the capacity of all team members through research engagement. -

• Complimentary phone counselling
• In-person counselling initiating soon in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Agra group
• Workshops tailored for eight or more individuals as a component of preventative mental health care -
Awareness
• Promoted mental health awareness via diverse social media channels
• Conducted a screening of the film "Devrai" along with a panel discussion featuring Dr. Mohan Agashe and Dr. Manoj Bhatawdekar. Additionally, held an awareness session on overall mental health for Pravara Medical College students.
