Vrindavan, housing over 30,000 widows, currently sees the distribution of grocery kits to 2000 of them. With people's assistance, this outreach can be expanded, providing essential support to a greater number of vulnerable widows in their daily struggles.

Relying on these Ashrams for sustenance, around 30,000 widows in Vrindavan undergo individual tales of hardship and heartbreak. Each woman brings a unique story, reflecting the challenges they've faced after losing their life partners. In their collective pursuit of spiritual salvation, these widows find companionship and support within the Ashram, forging bonds that help them navigate the intricacies of their shared journeys.

Common challenges include arthritis and, in certain instances, breast cancer. To address their health concerns, periodic check-ups are conducted, ensuring timely intervention. The provision of life-saving medications every month is crucial in managing these health issues, allowing these women to navigate the complexities of ageing with a semblance of physical well-being despite the adversities they face.

Winters pose a significant challenge for those without shelter, particularly evident in Vrindavan where numerous sadhus and Matajis endure the harsh cold on the streets or makeshift houses with tin or plastic sheet roofs. Deprived of adequate protection, they lack quality blankets to shield themselves from severe cold waves. The distribution of high-quality mink blankets, weighing 2 kg each, aims to offer warmth and comfort. This initiative significantly contributes to helping them confront the adversities posed by the winter season, providing a crucial means of relief amid the challenging weather conditions.
