The objective is to instill awareness of gender issues from a young age, aiming to shape a future generation committed to building a more egalitarian society. India currently grapples with various gender-related challenges, and while legal measures address them, the root cause lies in cultural biases. To bring about genuine change, efforts are needed at both cultural and institutional levels.
Since attitudes and behaviors are learned, targeting children with Reality Check seeks to dismantle illusions of equality. The goal is for children to unconsciously foster more equitable gender relations, breaking away from the unconscious sexism ingrained in the status quo.
