The Skilled Samaritan Foundation focuses on empowering women from disadvantaged communities in India by leveraging their existing craft skills and providing them with tech-based Read moredesign support. The aim is to create income opportunities for these women by enabling them to produce well-designed products. The Foundation supports a sustainable luxury brand, Sirohi, that sells products handcrafted by skilled women artisans.

  • Skill Lab Initiative

    The Skill Lab Initiative by Skilled Samaritan invites designers worldwide to collaborate and create sustainable and functional products through immersive learning experiences alongside master artisans. Emphasizing creative freedom and experimentation, the programme offers opportunities in various design domains, enabling designers to communicate their ideas to artisans using technology. The platform encourages the creation of products that embody comfort, sustainability, and functionality.

  • CSR Initiative

    Skilled Samaritan's CSR Initiative, equips women with basic craft skills, providing digital tools and knowledge to expand their economic opportunities. Through online and offline platforms, it connects these women to global buyers, fostering their success in the marketplace. The Charpai Weaving Workshop offers the chance to learn traditional weaving directly from skilled women artisans, enabling participants to create their own mini charpoy. Additionally, Skilled Samaritan presents a premium selection of handwoven boxes, baskets, and hampers for corporate gifting needs, showcasing the artisans' craftsmanship and providing unique tokens of appreciation.
