The Freedom from Forced Sex Work programme by Kat-Katha marks the final stage where the Didi or child is prepared to embrace a life free from enforced limitations, even without the support of Kat-Katha. This stage encompasses three key components. Firstly, financial independence becomes crucial as sustainable livelihood is essential for meeting the tangible needs of survival and provides a foundation of strength and support. Secondly, the beneficiaries embark on a new life characterized by dignity and compassion, making choices that are entirely their own. Lastly, complete rehabilitation requires the individual's courage and the presence of external support mechanisms, as the beneficiary cuts all ties and takes full ownership of their life.
