The Santhusta Foundation was established as a partner organisation of Indus Action Initiatives, a nonprofit dedicated to giving marginalised populatio Read morens access to legal rights. From 2018 to 2020, the Santhusta Foundation and Indus Action collaborated on projects like the School Readiness Programme and RTE 12(1)c throughout the state of Rajasthan, with Jaipur serving as the operational hub. Following the start of COVID-19, Santhusta focused more on early childhood education, collaborating with Anganwadi teachers and parents of kids in Jaipur's impoverished neighbourhoods who were between the ages of three and six. Every day, more than 100 Anganwadi instructors receive training under the Shiksha Ki Ore programme, while the Centres of Excellence programme seeks to create ten model early childhood education centres.

Programs
-
Shiksha Ki Ore program (SKO)
Supports the current early childhood programme, which was developed by ICDS and is government-prescribed, covering literacy, numeracy, and cognitive development. SKO's support for the programme consists of meeting resource gaps to enable teaching, providing online content as tools and resources, and supporting teacher training to guarantee that community educators are meeting the government-mandated Early Childhood Education Objectives.
-
Centers of Excellence program (CoE)
It is an ambitious initiative launched by Santhusta to ensure the holistic development of a child. The objectives of this programme go far beyond Education to include the development aspects of Motor Skills, Social Cognition, Self-esteem and Communication. These are fundamental and core aspects of a child's development, the effects of which follow them into adulthood. Santhusta has chosen 10 local areas (or Anganwadis) of Jaipur to run this programme to create model centres of holistic child development that can be integrated into the mainstream.
