The VBP Foundation, recognizing the need for a holistic approach, has launched a project dedicated to delivering treatment, nutrition, shelter, education, and moral encouragement to Children Living with HIV/AIDS. Presently, the organisation can assist and care for up to 66 children through this initiative, aiming to create a comprehensive and sustainable support system for those affected by the virus.

    The lack of pediatric formulations posed a significant obstacle to providing adequate nutrition and treatment for a substantial number of children living with HIV/AIDS in India. Another pressing issue is the challenge of reaching untested children who may potentially carry the virus. The program emphasizes identifying vulnerable children to HIV infection and verifying their status as a top priority. Presently, the initiative extends support to over 50 children in Davanagere, addressing the critical need for proper nutrition and healthcare in the context of pediatric HIV/AIDS care.
