The India Climate Collaborative (ICC) works to understand the challenges created by climate change and find solutions for the climate crisis. It aims Read moreto encourage and empower organisations, youths, as well as several communities to tackle the situation of climate change in India. Its founding members are leaders in the Indian corporate and philanthropic world. By fostering partnerships and catalyzing resources, it seeks to support sustainable, scalable, and equitable solutions that can effectively mitigate and adapt to climate change in India. It recognizes that a multi-stakeholder approach is crucial for tackling complex climate issues, and therefore, actively engages with Government agencies, nonprofits, research institutions, and other relevant actors. The ICC's work encompasses various thematic areas, including renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, clean transportation, resilient cities, and climate finance. It supports projects and initiatives that promote clean energy adoption, enhance agricultural practices, develop climate-resilient infrastructure, advance sustainable urban planning, and mobilize finance for climate action. Through these efforts, it has also accelerated the transition to a low-carbon, climate-resilient economy in India.
