Indo-Myanmar Border Mission (IMBM), based in Manipur and operating since 2009 under the Manipur Registration Act of 1986 (Regt No.41/UD/SR/2009), is a Read morectively engaged in supporting remote border villages of India and Myanmar. Holding a 12A and 80G Income Tax Exemption Certificate, IMBM focuses on the transformation and empowerment of individuals and communities, particularly addressing the needs of underprivileged groups. Operating under the principles of promoting God's love in action, IMBM is dedicated to serving tribes, the poor, illiterates, sick individuals, orphans, widows, and others in the border region. The organization concentrates its efforts in four key areas: education for underprivileged children; integrated skill development and training for villages; village development and social upliftment projects; and emergency response and relief during natural calamities, epidemics, and conflicts. IMBM currently manages a children's home in Ukhrul Town, Manipur, and actively supports Myanmar refugees at the border. Despite not receiving any central and state government funds, the organization strives to accommodate 60 refugee children in its camp, providing education and essential needs within its limited capacity and resources.
