  • Samarth Programme

    The Samarth project, carried out by Family Health India, incorporates various crucial tasks. It encompasses practices for sustainable agriculture and natural resource management, the strengthening of community-based organisations to develop infrastructure, the promotion of livelihood opportunities, community deployment and raising social awareness. The project also includes an education support program, initiatives to enhance community health, promotion of water, sanitation, and hygiene practices, as well as efforts in the field of renewable energy.

  • Sahyog Programme

    Sahyog, an initiative of Family Health India, is a capacity-building initiative implemented as part of the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP). It operates under the GFATM grant from April 2021 to March 2023, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of NACP through training programmes conducted across all 36 states and union territories of India. It is aligned with the SAHAS Grant, where the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) serves as the Principal Recipient (PR) from April 2021 to March 2024, focusing on capacity building in collaboration with Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust (HLFPPT).

  • Youth Ki Awaaz Programme

    The Youth Ki Awaz (YKA) project, undertaken in collaboration with Godrej Consumer Products Limited CSR, Family Health India, and the District Administration of Bhind, is devoted to strengthening the Government of India's endeavours in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6. Implemented in four intervention villages near the Godrej Factory in Malanpur, Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, the YKA project focuses on promoting water and sanitation availability and sustainable management for all. It aims to empower and engage youth in driving positive change in the community's water and sanitation outcomes.

  • Youth Engagement for Civic Action Programme

    By encouraging cooperation between local Governments, municipal agencies, and health authorities, the Youth Engagement for Civic Action programme, funded by Godrej Consumer Products Limited, intends to mobilise young participation in treating mosquito-borne diseases. The programme's goals include gathering and educating a group of 500 young people who will actively fight mosquito-borne illnesses, enhancing the responsiveness of municipal government to community concerns, and ensuring that rapid testing kits and medications are accessible through Urban ASHAs and UPHCs, which are operated by health authorities. The programme works in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, and encompasses 200 slums, serving about 2 million people.
