Poveda Foundation

Since 2010, it operates an English kindergarten, aiming to provide children a strong beginning in education, guiding them towards a path that enables access to English medium schools through the Right to Education (RTE) act.

Previously, it provided English classes to children from orphanages and several villages. As of June 2022, it collaborates with Zilla Parishad Schools, introducing English not merely as a subject but as a language integral to their curriculum.

Believing that a well-trained teacher catalyzes positive change in the lives of countless students, it dedicates efforts to enhance the professional and personal development of educators. This conviction drives Poveda to collaborate closely with teachers, fostering growth that impacts students across their years of teaching service.

Recognizing students as not just recipients but motivations for change within society, it actively fosters opportunities to cultivate leadership qualities in each child, aiming to empower them as agents of positive transformation.

Ensuring equal access to computer education opens doors for children to explore diverse knowledge and career paths previously inaccessible to them. At Poveda, computer education has been entirely facilitated by volunteers, empowering children to acquire and master crucial technological skills.

Since 2021, it has conducted after-school classes to address the widening educational gap among children from low-income communities caused by the pandemic, striving to bring them up to par with their academic progress.
