With 71 beds, including deluxe rooms, A/C rooms, and general wards, patients receive round-the-clock nursing care from trained ophthalmic nursing assistants. The coffee shop, managed by SWAN (Sankara Nethralaya Women's Auxiliary), serves steaming hot South Indian filter coffee, tea, cool drinks, and snacks, providing a refreshing break for visitors. A utility shop within the hospital premises stocks essential items for day-to-day activities and also facilitates the distribution of free glasses to underprivileged patients. SWAN volunteers extend their support to patients, assisting them and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Additionally, regular transport facilities are available to facilitate travel between different campuses, coordinated by the Travel Department, with boarding points conveniently located and timings displayed for patient convenience.
