  • Apprenticeship Programme

    States

    Telangana

To bridge the gap between the demand and supply of apprenticeship opportunities and enhance their appeal to both young individuals and employers, YuWaah established an apprenticeship working group. This group, consisting of 16 stakeholders, including young people, examined the existing challenges within the apprenticeship ecosystem and proposed a path forward. Additionally, a pilot programme was conducted in Telangana, shedding light on the specific issues faced by both young individuals and employers in the apprenticeship system. Leveraging the insights gained from the pilot programme, along with the expertise of the working group members, YuWaah compiled a policy paper containing actionable recommendations to address these challenges and improve the overall apprenticeship experience.
