Impact
The Calcutta Foundation has impacted by establishing 14 Apni Kutir centres across rural and urban Bengal, training more than 7000 women with a 65% post-training income generation rate, reaching 200 villages in Bengal and Bihar through physical programs since 2021. Earlier to that, between 2002 and 2020, Calcutta Foundation engaged in various philanthropic initiatives to drive Relief campaigns at disaster affected areas and communities across West Bengal impacting more than 4,00,000 people directly and indirectly in the two decades.

The vision is to create a world where women have equal economic opportunities and are empowered to make their own decisions. The mission is to promote economic independence for women in India through a 360-degree approach including training, skill development, and community engagement.
