Srishti dedicates its efforts to strengthening governance at the grassroots level, specifically at the Gram Panchayat and Gram Sabha levels. The organ Read moreisation has implemented various projects with the aim of building community awareness and capacity to monitor Government schemes and laws, leading to improved implementation. Srishti's intervention model focuses on creating awareness and empowering communities to actively monitor and participate in the governance of their villages. The organisation works on a wide range of issues, including health and nutrition, sustainable use and marketing of non-timber forest products, education, and water body rejuvenation, among others. Srishti collaborates with other organisations such as CRY, SWISSAID etc. to implement its humanitarian initiatives.

Multiyear Health and Nutrition Support Services
This project, supported by the CRY foundation focuses on identifying gaps in health service providers' functioning and works with stakeholders to build their capacities and create awareness. It aims to ensure access to quality health services. Its continuum of care approach addresses malnutrition, supporting mothers throughout pregnancy and beyond. Srishti's model stands out with its holistic approach, use of technology for data monitoring and analysis, and integration with the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) framework.

Development of Natural Resource Based Livelihoods in Tribal Areas (NRL)
Collaborating with SWISSAId and with a focus on increasing fish productivity in tribal areas, this project combines traditional knowledge and modern fisheries management techniques to restore habitats and improve livelihoods. Over the next couple of years, it aims to enhance fish productivity, benefiting approximately 3,900 individuals from disadvantaged communities. The project includes infrastructure development, such as the restoration of aquatic habitats in 14 water bodies and the establishment of fish seed-rearing units in 14 villages. Additionally, capacity-building efforts involve collaborating with community institutions to empower fisheries cooperatives, authorized fishing groups, and women collectives.

Develop Skills and Generate Scope for Employment and Rural Entrepreneurship of Tribal Pockets
Supported by the PwC Foundation, this project, implemented in Kurkheda and Desaiganj of Gadchiroli District, Maharashtra aims to increase fish productivity in local freshwater bodies in tribal areas by combining traditional knowledge and modern fisheries management techniques. It targets approximately 3,900 individuals from vulnerable tribal and caste communities, aiming to enhance their household income. The project involves restoring aquatic habitats in 14 community-managed water bodies and establishing fish seed-rearing units in 16 villages. Capacity building is a key component, working with community institutions such as fisheries cooperatives, authorised fishing groups, and women collectives. The project equips the community, as well as individuals, with the necessary skills and resources to engage in entrepreneurship within the fisheries and honey sectors.

Supplemental Online Education in Government Schools
This programme, supported by eVidyalok and by volunteer teachers both locally and internationally, offers supplemental online education in Government schools. It provides training, material, and content to enhance in-school learning in over 10 Zilha Parishad schools across various villages, including Shankarpur, Kasari, Gothangaon, Yengalkheda, Malewada, Jambhulkheda, Gewardha, Boldha, and Choup. The programme equips schools with internet connectivity, video conferencing equipment, and trainer-volunteers.
