Ranga Shankara

It organises shows both at Ranga Shankara and outside, attracting thousands of children annually. AHA! Productions create plays in Kannada and English, catering to different age groups and captivating young audiences in India and abroad. The programme also hosts the AHA! Theatre for Children Festival, featuring national and international productions, showcasing the best of theatre for young audiences.

The Ranga Shankara Theatre and Arts Appreciation Course is an annual event curated by Culture Critic Sadanand Menon. Loka Sanchara is a programme by Ranga Shankara that aims to bring the best of Bangalore's theatre to tier-two cities and interior districts of Karnataka. It involves taking its own plays to various locations across the state. The program includes district tours, workshops for school teachers, and training for theatre practitioners outside metropolitan areas. The goal of Loka Sanchara is to expand and share a high-quality theatre experience with the rest of Karnataka, inspiring theatre enthusiasts to establish similar spaces and programmes based on professionalism and rigorous practice.

Ranga Ugadi is a special event celebrated at Ranga Shankara to commemorate the beginning of the New Year in the Deccan region. It is a day-long celebration that focuses on Kannada literature. Each year, Ranga Ugadi highlights the work of a renowned Kannada writer through plays, poetry, songs, and short stories performed on stage. Ranga Ugadi brings together the theatre and artist community to express their love for the language and the featured writer.
