The Trust has organised multiple campaigns like the “Save Lake, Save Birds” campaign, to raise awareness about the conservation of the lake and its 120 different bird species. It has gathered active support and participation from students and residents, through Lake-Clean up activities and Bird Watching expeditions. A UPA Lokayukta regularly surveys the lake and conducts meetings with BWSSB (Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board), LDA (Lake Development Authority), the Forest Department and representatives from the Trust. The Trust collaborates with the Forest Department and researchers from the Indian Institute of Science in its lake development projects. It has conducted educational training programmes for students, imparting environmental knowledge.
