EkStep Foundation was established in collaboration with the team that played a crucial role in developing the Aadhaar project. The Foundation's primar Read morey objective is to address the intricate issue of limited learning opportunities faced by millions of children in India. To achieve this, it aims to provide a collaborative and universal platform that facilitates the creation and consumption of educational content. Through its ambitious initiative called Mission EkStep, the Foundation endeavours to enhance access to learning opportunities and improve literacy and numeracy skills for 200 million children in India. To support this mission, it has developed Sunbird as an open digital infrastructure and adopted the concept of Societal Platform thinking. It is dedicated to tackling this challenge on a large scale and positively impacting the lives of countless children by expanding their educational horizons.

Its purpose is to enable the smooth identification of opportunities and establish trust in transactions, thereby facilitating effortless skill development, deployment, and associated supply-chain activities. DSEP empowers adopters to establish decentralized networks for skills and education, utilizing the core specifications of the beckn protocol, while incorporating additional taxonomies and sample network policies specifically tailored for the skills and education sector.

    Sunbird Knowlg offers a versatile solution for effectively managing extensive asset collections using a flexible hierarchical organisational framework. By applying multiple tags on various frameworks, assets gain valuable metadata, facilitating effortless discovery based on user preferences. For instance, QR codes can connect physical materials to digital assets. Knowlg provides customizable tools and microservices to handle the asset lifecycle management and implement programmes and projects.

    Sunbird Lern empowers the creation and administration of personalized learning journeys for users, facilitating cohort formation, progress tracking, and enabling collaboration through interactive elements like discussion forums, events, and notifications. Furthermore, Lern offers microservices to handle user and organisation account management, including roles, location, and other essential master data.

They are self-sufficient and can function independently. They can seamlessly integrate with other building blocks to enhance their value. They offer versatile capabilities applicable to various scenarios and can be easily incorporated into existing systems. Furthermore, they can be enhanced and upgraded while being utilized in solutions.

  • Sunbird Anuvaad

    Sunbird Anuvaad enables the translation of digital documents into nine Indian languages. Although primarily trained for Indic languages, it is designed to accommodate additional non-Indic languages for worldwide usage. It offers pre-trained models that can be customized for specific domains, incorporating tailored datasets and reference tools to meet specific requirements.

  • Sunbird coKreat

    Sunbird coKreat facilitates the involvement of contributors in tasks such as gathering, organising, publishing, overseeing, and acknowledging their contributions. It allows the sourcing of assets through methods like crowdsourcing and bulk uploads. With its reference web app and microservices, it supports the creation and acquisition of diverse assets, including videos, documents, questions, and interactive content, across over 30 languages.
