Bal Mangal Educational Trust is working for improving the quality of K-12 education for rural districts of India. Towards this, the first K-12 scho Read moreol is opened at one of the bottom 115 districts of India, Aurangabad, Bihar. This school, Rise High Public School, is CBSE affiliated(up to class 10) and running classes from class 1 to class 10. Rise High Public School was started in April 2014 from class LKG to 4th in a small village of Aurangabad, Bihar. New classes got added every year and it got CBSE affiliation in May 2020. Our vision for this first school is To be in the top 25 schools of India by 2030, measured by: Successful academic results of class X and XII Performance in competitive exams like NTSE, Olympiads, Engineering and Medical entrances Performance in sports, arts, and music We aim to provide top-quality education at low cost/free to poor students of rural districts . In the long run, we want it to be self-sustainable and were on that path till 2019-20 session, when we were able to meet 80-85% of our operating expenses. Since the covid period, the situation has gone bad, and we are dependent on donations to keep the school running as fees have dried up due to the bad economic situation. Our plans to open similar schools in other similar districts is also delayed as the first school is not self-sustainable yet.
