The organisation believes that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and achieve their dreams Read moreof a better life. It provides free life and job skills training to college students facing disabilities and vulnerable conditions, with a special focus on empowering women. The programs are designed to instil confidence and equip students with essential skills to embark on their professional journey or pursue higher education. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the organisation has undertaken proactive measures to provide online access to the courses. This is to ensure that the students can continue their learning journey safely from home. This approach allows them to access valuable resources and engage in interactive learning experiences. Alongside academic training, it promotes fitness and mental health activities to support the overall development of the students. Recognizing the significance of economic empowerment, it strives to provide remote work opportunities for students with disabilities. This initiative enables them to gain practical experience and achieve financial independence

Online English Fluency training held for VI students
After attending this program, students with disabilities are able to confidently communicate with their classmates, professors and the people they interact with in college. The content of this program is divided into five parts: self-introductions, getting around campus, registering for courses, interacting with professors and classmates.

Information session on UPSC jobs examination
This session was conducted by an IRS Officer who is visual disabled. The session was attended by 18 students with disabilities across various colleges of University of Delhi who were aspiring to appear for the UPSC exams. The question and answer round with the IRS Officer guided the students to realise their dreams.

Information session on Railways and NTPC jobs examination
This webinar was attended by 15 students with visual and physical disabilities across Delhi University At the end of the webinar, the students posed various questions regarding the session. At the end of the session, the students had greater clarity on the two exams.

Development of Curriculum and Training Content for VI & PH students
The content for the programmes was developed after in-depth research of about 2000 hours every year. Feedback from the students, subject-matter experts and professional trainers was incorporated to finetune the course content. These courses are bilingual and also have experiential hands-on activity learning modules, and are utilized for ARISE Impact’s training programs.

Job Preparation training for visually impaired students
Visually impaired students are trained how to introduce themselves in Hindi and English. The students are imparted training to converse clearly in a professional manner. They are able to talk about their disability in a positive way during job interviews.
After the resume building training, students are able to perceive the value of a good resume. They are trained to develop one on their own and use in a professional context.
