The Foundation prioritizes the development of rural people, especially the elderly and sick. It organised treatment-cum-checkup camps at its premises, offering primary healthcare services. During the reported years, over 1600 people received treatment and medicine through the Foundation's funds from contributions made by members and well-wishers. The West Bengal Gandhi Peace Foundation responded to these challenges by implementing a multi-faceted programme that addresses women's reproductive health concerns and collaborates closely with local self-government health staff. The programme empowers women as major providers and users of child survival and reproductive health services through research, advocacy, and experimentation.
