-
Life coaching for youth
Shuddh provides training for young individuals aged 16 to 25, focusing on life-enhancing practices. The program covers a range of skills including self-behavior management, effective communication, foundational human psychology, anger management, and enhancing personal efficiency in work and various aspects of life.
-
Parent – child relationship management
In today's world, a significant divergence of opinions often exists between young children or kids and their parents, leading to numerous challenges for both parties. Shuddh provides training on relationship management to both parents and children. This can foster improved understanding and contribute to creating healthier relationships and lifestyles.
-
Menstrual Hygiene
Shuddh conducts training on menstrual hygiene practices that women should observe during their menstrual cycles. This is especially significant as unhygienic practices can impact the risk of Reproductive Tract Infections (RTIs). Inadequate menstrual hygiene stands as a prominent factor contributing to the elevated prevalence of RTIs within the country, thereby substantially affecting women's health.
Neglecting personal hygiene due to various responsibilities can lead to the propagation of harmful germs. Poor personal hygiene practices can trigger illnesses such as food poisoning, gastroenteritis, pneumonia, trachoma, and skin infections. Hence, it becomes imperative for women to uphold meticulous personal hygiene practices. -
Workshop for men on menstruation
In India, there is an urgent need for men to be educated about women's menstrual challenges and environmentally friendly solutions. Initiating conversations within households—among husbands, brothers, fathers, and daughters— could potentially address over 50% of the problems women face during their menstrual cycle. Even in urban settings where men often hold societal status, it's essential to recognize that they play a pivotal role in family decisions related to shopping, education, vacations, and more. Despite their education, many men still shy away from discussing menstruation.
Shuddh Foundation has taken a proactive stance to advance menstrual hygiene awareness by conducting workshops exclusively for men. The objective is to extend these workshops across urban and rural areas in India, creating a comprehensive support system for every woman and girl in the country, ultimately leading to an improved quality of life for all.
