Impact

The ISCI Foundation has positively impacted eight schools, reaching out to 7,860 girls and installing ten Sustainable Nutrient-Vapourizing Machines (SNVM) as part of its impactful initiatives.

Programs

  • Quality Education Programme

    The programme focuses on several key initiatives. Firstly, its STEM Learning Lab aims to cultivate critical thinking and adaptability in children, fostering curiosity, creativity, and skills such as Design mindset, Computational Thinking, and Adaptive Learning. Secondly, the English & Leadership initiative targets enhancing English language proficiency and leadership skills among government school children in classes III to VIII, bridging the gap in language exposure. Lastly, the organisation offers free first responder training, empowering individuals with life-saving skills to make a positive impact within their communities.

  • Health & Nutrition Programme

    The organisation concentrates on various vital endeavours. Firstly, it works towards enhancing healthcare accessibility and awareness. Secondly, in addressing menstrual hygiene, it acknowledges the socioeconomic impact of girls leaving school due to menstrual health issues, leading to early marriages and pregnancies. Encouraging girls to stay in school contributes to universal primary education, gender equality, and poverty reduction. Lastly, amidst the COVID-19 crisis in early 2020, the country implemented a nationwide lockdown to combat the virus spread, emphasizing the importance of social distancing as the primary solution.

  • Climate Action Programme

    The organisation actively engages in climate action, emphasizing the importance of preserving our planet. It champions initiatives such as seed ball plantation as a means of conserving resources and restoring green cover efficiently and joyfully. Additionally, it promotes fruit tree planting, recognizing the struggles of farmers facing adversity due to climatic challenges. Offering a source of sustainable income through this initiative aims to support these communities and create a parallel income stream to alleviate their hardships.

  • Livelihoods Programme

    The ISCI Foundation is dedicated to empowering women and girls through skill development workshops aimed at fostering self-reliance. In collaboration with local authorities, they conducted sessions focusing on various skills. In Gwalior, workshops on party makeup were organised at different locations, benefitting a total of 45 individuals. These workshops, led by the Foundation's trainers, aimed to address the demand for makeup services in the region, potentially allowing participants to earn between ₹1000.00 to ₹2000.00 rupees per makeup session. Additionally, in Dongarpur village, a mehndi art workshop was arranged, providing women with an opportunity to enhance their skills and boost their confidence. The Foundation, driven by its vision to empower women, remains committed to organising such workshops to facilitate women's self-sufficiency and upliftment in society.
