Improve air quality - Project in China
Clean Air Asia has been actively involved in improving air quality management (AQM) and promoting green transport in China since 2002. Promotes science-based AQM in China, establishing the first city AQM network across the country. Through the AQM capacity building program, it offers training, materials, technical guidance, and an online knowledge hub to national and local environmental policymakers and technical staff. Over 150 Chinese cities have benefitted from this initiative. Clean Air Asia has established five regional platforms to strengthen cities' capacity, facilitate learning, and contribute to national policymaking.
In the realm of green transport, it has strived to reduce freight sector emissions since 2008. The initiatives include green freight pilot projects and the China Green Freight Initiative, aimed at raising awareness among policymakers and carriers. -
