Amidst the challenging times brought on by the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic, the dedicated team at Annasagar has tirelessly rallied to provide sustenance to those in need across various areas, including the slums of Choma, Bajghera, Sarai Gaon, G,H & E blocks, daily wage laborers, Sector 21, Sankar Vihar, Krishna Chowk, Bijwasan, Carterpuri, Sector 23, Choma Fatak, Ashok Vihar, Railway Station Area, Bijwasan, and individuals living on the streets who are acutely vulnerable. The Annsagar Foundation has been steadfastly committed to this cause, ensuring the distribution of over 2500 food boxes twice a day to the less fortunate, while strictly adhering to stringent safety and hygiene protocols. The Annasagar Foundation team has been resolute in its mission to combat hunger, actively promoting social distancing while delivering essential food packets to those in need, with the appropriate use of safety equipment.

The covid safety drive is aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of the most vulnerable members of our society – children and slum dwellers. In the challenging times of the pandemic, it is crucial to protect those who may not fully understand the implications of the situation.
Children, in particular, are at higher risk due to their limited understanding of social distancing and the close proximity they maintain within their homes and communities. Annsagar Foundation recognized the urgency of addressing this issue and embarked on a mission to provide them with the necessary tools to protect themselves and others.
Through this safety drive, the foundation is not only distributing face masks but also educating these young minds about the importance of maintaining a safe distance to prevent the spread of the virus. Additionally, essential safety items such as soaps, sanitizers, and gloves are distributed.

The foundation extends its support to the less fortunate by providing essential household items like clothing, shoes, and ration. Additionally, it strives to empower underprivileged children in the area by equipping them with essential educational supplies such as notebooks, pencils, pens, and school bags.

Amidst the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 lockdown, it's not just the human population that has been impacted. The plight of stray animals, who depend on scraps and leftovers from streets and establishments, has worsened. Recognizing their struggle, Annsagar Foundation has launched a compassionate initiative aimed at alleviating the suffering of thousands of strays during this difficult time.
The program focuses on ensuring that these vulnerable animals have access to sustenance by providing them with food and water. Stray dogs, cows, birds, and other creatures that share our urban and rural landscapes are benefiting from this effort.
