Knowledge and Evidence Programme
Gender at Work India focuses on illuminating the hurdles in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Indian context. The organisation achieves this by producing policy briefs, case studies, and reports that highlight approaches to disrupt and transform institutional norms that sustain inequality. Additionally, the organisation emphasizes the significance of diversity by engaging with researchers and practitioners, particularly those from historically marginalized backgrounds, who are dedicated to addressing matters of equality and inclusion. Through these efforts, Gender at Work India contributes to fostering a deeper understanding and action-oriented strategies for promoting diversity and equity.

StateStates
Delhi
Focusing on the Generation Equality Forum's mission, Gender at Work India launched the Feminist Youth Leadership Programme (FYLP) to cultivate feminist youth leadership in India. In response to the complex societal and political landscape, the project aimed to bridge the gaps in diversity and representation within youth activism and civil society. Employing a comprehensive approach, FYLP combined research, curriculum co-creation, and cohort building to foster intersectional feminist agendas within civil society. Over the course of ten months, the programme engaged in extensive discussions and consultations, involving over 100 individuals, to deeply analyze the challenges and possibilities of youth leadership within the feminist movement and its broader societal context.
