The Kamila Tyabji WIT Centre in Panvel serves as an educational hub, providing vocational skills training, housing production units, and even a girls' hostel. WIT's efforts extend to multiple Mumbai centres and beyond, where women's products are marketed through showrooms and sales across the country. In alignment with its founder's vision, WIT remains committed to empowering women by offering education, skills training, and employment opportunities. In the 21st century, WIT has evolved its activities to address changing societal needs while staying true to its core purpose. The organisation's goal remains unchanged: to enable disadvantaged women to become self-reliant by equipping them with skills, confidence, and resources. WIT's objectives encompass various aspects, including offering training opportunities to girls and women without specialized skills, fostering their involvement in voluntary and paid work, and aiding in product marketing to support their self-sufficiency. Additionally, WIT is dedicated to staff welfare, providing medical assistance, training programmes, interest-free loans, and child care services, creating an environment that encourages learning, growth, and well-being.
