My Body, My Safety Programme
Rubaroo Breaking Silences Foundation conducts the "My Body, My Safety" programme to equip participants with skills to prevent child sexual abuse and foster gender sensitivity. Tailored for different age groups, the program imparts knowledge about safe and unsafe situations, private body parts, and the importance of consent. Starting from ages 4-6, participants learn body safety rules such as saying "NO" and reporting to a trusted adult. For ages 7-9, an introduction to gender sensitivity and cyber safety is included. Ages 10-12 delve into private body parts' functioning and gender sensitivity. Ages 13-15 explore puberty, sexual health, relationships, consent, and more. Lastly, ages 16-17 receive comprehensive knowledge about sexual health, rights, gender sensitivity, safe relationships, and consent, with an emphasis on holistic understanding and empathy. Through these programmes, Rubaroo promotes safety, awareness, and informed choices among participants of various age groups.

Adult Programmes
Rubaroo Breaking Silences Foundation's Adult Programmes empower educators and adults to address child sexual abuse sensitively. The Teacher Training, spanning 4 hours, focuses on equipping teachers for age-specific groups - pre-primary, primary, and secondary. It covers recognizing abuse signs, disclosure handling, empathy building, gender sensitivity, POCSO Act, Child Protection Policies, and fostering healthy discussions about private body parts and sexuality. The 1.5-hour CSA Awareness Programme educates adults to safeguard children through topics like identifying abuse, handling disclosures, setting body boundaries, and understanding the POCSO Act. These programmes aim to enhance awareness, sensitivity, and response to child sexual abuse concerns, ensuring a safer environment for children.

Mental Health Programmes
Rubaroo Breaking Silences Foundation operates Mental Health Programmes to enhance communication, empathy, and effective issue management with children. The 4-hour "Staff Training for Mental Health Management" equips participants to handle crises, understand stress's impact on brain functioning, empathize with children, address age-specific concerns, and employ practical coping techniques. Prioritizing staff well-being, it covers self-care. The 2-hour "Mental Health and Emotional Well-being" session aids participants in managing emotions during crises, exploring stress's influence, recognizing feelings' significance, promoting self-empathy, and embracing solution-focused thinking. Both programmes emphasize staff's mental wellness. Additionally, Rubaroo offers counselling services, aiding survivors of child sexual abuse and their families, fostering healing and trauma relief. These efforts spotlight mental health awareness, effective management, and support for abuse survivors.
