Programs

  • Education Programme

Spherule Foundation prioritizes education as a means to eliminate disparities, extending equal opportunities to all children. Operating through platforms like the InstaShalla app and community centres, as well as collaborating with Government schools nationwide, it ensures access to education regardless of socio-economic background. It caters to underprivileged children facing challenges like child labour, poverty, and homelessness, providing additional classes for bright students and appointing volunteers in areas with teacher shortages. The Foundation also focuses on improving school infrastructure through its Happy School programme, enhancing facilities such as libraries, lighting, sanitation, and sports equipment. This holistic approach aims to bridge educational gaps and enhance the learning experience for disadvantaged children.

  • Livelihood Programme

Spherule Foundation is addressing the post-COVID-19 livelihood crisis by assisting affected individuals, particularly in the unorganized sector, to restart their businesses. The pandemic hit sectors like roadside vendors and beauty parlours hard, forcing many to sell assets to repay loans. This situation has led to massive unemployment, especially in urban areas. Spherule Foundation conducts surveys to understand individuals' stories and aspirations, securing funding ranging from INR 5,000 to 25,000 for ventures like grocery shops, tailoring units, and more. They provide training and monitor progress, helping people rebuild their lives and businesses, one step at a time.

  • Healthcare Programme

Spherule Foundation is addressing India's unique public health challenges by running projects that provide health-related government schemes and conduct health camps for marginalized communities. Despite advancements in healthcare technologies, the country's health system remains a concern, especially for the underprivileged. The Foundation's initiatives aim to bridge this gap by organizing health camps for children, women, and senior citizens, along with full-body checkup camps for specific groups like drivers and artisans. It also raises awareness about menstrual health, sets up ICU units in hospitals for affordable treatments, and runs an OPD centre serving thousands of patients. Additionally, Spherule Foundation has played a crucial role in facilitating Covid vaccinations and operating Covid isolation centres in Haryana and Rajasthan

  • Women Empowerment & Entrepreneurship Programme (WEEP)

Spherule Foundation is dedicated to empowering women in India, recognizing diverse factors like location, education, and social status that influence empowerment. Through its Women Empowerment & Entrepreneurship Programme (WEEP), they address gender disparities in education, economic opportunities, and healthcare. The initiative involves skill development in menstrual health, organic sanitary pad production, healthy cooking, tailoring, and digital literacy. This not only empowers women in rural and urban areas but also fosters entrepreneurship. WEEP enables women to establish micro-ventures, sell organic sanitary napkins, and contribute to income and health awareness. The programme's success is evident in improved incomes among participants due to enhanced skills and knowledge, spanning entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and more.

  • Digital Literacy Programme

Spherule Foundation addresses the digital and financial literacy challenges faced by marginalized communities in India. Despite increased account openings, the impact of India's digital finance initiatives is limited by account dormancy and low usage, especially in rural and poorer populations. Spherule's programme aims to empower micro-entrepreneurs with essential digital skills and financial knowledge. It provides training sessions on using digital tools, UPI, money management apps, and navigating social networks and shopping applications. Additionally, the programme educates participants about India's banking system, different types of accounts, insurance, and fraud prevention. By equipping micro-entrepreneurs with these skills, Spherule Foundation seeks to break cycles of underperformance, promote business growth, and improve the overall standard of living.
