Contemporary students navigate a diverse range of academic subjects in school, expanding their cognitive and academic boundaries. However, these subjects sometimes overlook important aspects of learning. Crucial environmental concerns frequently lack emphasis or thorough comprehension. Even though these insights might not be evaluated in crucial exams, they are essential for addressing the ongoing global environmental challenges. This is precisely where Brake-Even plays a significant role, providing an engaging and enjoyable approach to nurturing environmental stewardship among youth.
Brake-Even stands as Swechha's inventive short-term outreach initiative, designed for schools and educational institutions that are eager to involve themselves in environmental and citizenship-related issues.
Brake Even presents a concise 6-8 module outreach initiative tailored for schools and institutions enthusiastic about delving into topics concerning the environment, life skills, and citizenship. -

Monsoon Wooding
Sweccha undertakes the comprehensive process of Planting, Protecting, and Promoting Trees during the monsoon season, contributing around 5000 trees annually to Delhi NCR. Our cumulative efforts have resulted in the successful growth and survival of over 50000 trees to date. This endeavor involves collaboration with communities, identification of potential green spaces, participation from school and college students, and engagement with corporate entities.
Furthermore, Swechha has taken on an Urban Afforestation Project in collaboration with the Centre for Environment Research and Education and IndusInd Bank. This partnership is geared towards augmenting New Delhi's green coverage by cultivating native fruit-bearing and non-fruit-bearing tree species across available open spaces, be they private or public. The primary objective is to enhance the urban environment, amplify local flora and fauna, sequester carbon, and ameliorate the microclimate of Delhi/NCR. -
