    In Delhi, even amidst street dwellers and labour families, orthodox beliefs hinder education. Lakshya is an initiative by Being Green that offers free education, aiming to admit underprivileged children into certified schools.

  • Tree plantation drives

    Earth Day, observed annually on April 22, rallies global events for environmental protection. Being Green advocates bolstering environmental health through expanding green cover and forests. While "GO GREEN" has long been endorsed, the organisation focuses on "ACT GREEN," urging tree planting to enhance Earth's vitality. The strategies include:
    1. Tree Plantation Drive on National Festivals: Festivals unite people, allowing Being Green to foster tree planting awareness and participation, further engaging them in related activities.
    2. Birthday Tree: Members plant a tree on their birthdays, nurturing them lifelong.
    3. Facebook Tree: Social media's power propels this campaign. For every hundred likes on our page, a tree is planted.

  • Village empowerment

    Being Green's initiatives target empowerment in Maharashtra's tribal hamlets – Bhingara, Gomal & Chalistapri. The marginalised communities lack basic amenities. In July 2017, Being Green installed solar lights, water pumps, and distributed stationery and blankets.
