Shrividya Foundation was established by individuals sharing a common goal of creating a substantial positive impact on the world. The foundation is de Read moredicated to providing medical assistance to underprivileged children. In this regard, it is initiating various projects in Kolkata. The foundation strives to raise awareness about paediatric medical care and provides support for life-saving cardiac surgeries for disadvantaged children. The foundation advocates viewing children as citizens with equal rights, rather than objects of sympathy. The foundation does not operate schools, orphanages, or dispensaries. Operated by a team of volunteers and in partnership with local groups and interested organizations, Shrividya Foundation aims to spotlight cases of children facing serious medical issues and lacking the means for treatment expenses. Our primary approach involves fundraising within our network of friends and associates, supplemented by seeking assistance from funding institutions.

Medical camp
Partnered with Magma Fincorp Ltd to conduct 48 medical camps, extend free medical care, distribute medicines, and conduct pathology tests in remote regions of Howrah and Hooghly districts. These camps positively impacted over 4000 individuals, eliciting a remarkable response from the community.
In collaboration with the West Bengal Government, Shrividya foundation conducted an awareness program during the Gangasagar Mela. Deploying 1000 hoardings, it sensitized the attendees to various natural and man-made disasters like fires, drownings, accidents, and stampedes. With the help of 500 volunteers, it conducted informative activities for pilgrims at ferry ghats, mela grounds, beaches, temple areas, and bus stands to foster disaster preparedness among the pilgrims. -
Fire safety awareness campaign
Collaborated with the Fire & Emergency Department of the West Bengal Government to conduct an 8-day fire safety awareness campaign. With the active participation of 18 individuals in each region, three awareness vans circulated through Kolkata and both the districts disseminating safety information through leaflets and announcements. Additionally, engaging activities like street dramas and puppet shows were performed to enhance fire safety awareness.
The foundation organised a medical camp in Jadevpur, where the medical team examined the health of 250 children. The camp encompassed comprehensive medical check-ups, including blood pressure measurements and ECG tests. -
Safety campaign for water commuters
The foundation conducted an awareness campaign aimed at enhancing the safety and security of water commuters during the Durga puja and Jagadharti puja festivals. This initiative took place in collaboration with Bhatpara and Panihati Municipality at the Bhatpara and Panihati Ferry Ghats.

Distribution camp for children
The foundation periodically conducts food/clothes/stationary/ book distribution drives aimed to support children from underprivileged backgrounds. It collaborates with corporates and individuals to organise such distribution drives in urban and rural areas.
