It also offers resources for educators and conducts training programmes, workshops, and events aimed at raising awareness about biodiversity conservation and sustainable living practices.

Kalpavriksh is dedicated to promoting a vision of societies that are just, equitable, diverse, and sustainable. It aims to challenge dominant systems of power that perpetuate injustice, inequity, and unsustainability. Through initiatives like Vikalp Sangam and Radical Ecological Democracy, it seeks to showcase and foster alternative ways of meeting human needs without harming the environment and leaving marginalized communities behind. It emphasizes ecological sustainability, social well-being, direct democracy, and economic democracy as core principles for building a more equitable and sustainable society. Additionally, it contributes to academic-activist collaborations like ACKnowl-EJ, document environmental conflicts, and participate in global initiatives to create networks of solidarity among diverse alternatives worldwide.
