Rural Livelihoods Programme
The ICICI Foundation Rural Livelihood initiative is committed to fostering comprehensive socio-economic development in Indian villages. It focuses on sustainable livelihoods through locally relevant training and creating market linkages for underprivileged communities. The programme operates on four strategic pillars: first, it identifies eligible participants through various channels, including community outreach and referrals. Then, it assesses their existing skills and offers tailored training programmes, with a special emphasis on agriculture and dairy-related courses. Market linkages are facilitated to ensure a steady market for trainees' products and services.
