At Neptune Foundation we serve three sectors, First one is where we look after the elderly at out old age home aboslutlely FREE OF COST, We rescue the wandering mentally ill destitute treat them and reunite with their family and we provide grocery kit and health suppliments to the HIV+ cases.

    The most heart-rending sight on the streets which you have often witnessed is the mentally-ill roadside destitute dirty, haggard, half-naked people, with stinking torn clothes, long matted hair, lost in their own world. Typically these patients suffer from a mental illness called Schizophrenia causing them to lose their balance, equilibrium in normal thinking. Untreated and often misunderstood by laypeople and relatives, disturbed thinking causes them to wander on the streets. Neptune Foundation has taken up the task of admission, treatment, rehab and reuniting the Mentally Ill Destitute back with their families since 2010.

    Total Destitute Pickups: 334
    Reunited Destitute with their families: 633

    AIM: To increase the number of Rescue/Pick-ups and reunions at pan India level.

    In our good old days, the children used to adore their parents and look after them with love and reverence. But in present days, most of the old people, when they become non earning members of the family or sick or really invalid are neglected and sometimes thrown out of their houses even. The old bear the brunt of our changing lifestyles, values, and priorities. To protect these feeble and helpless beings, Neptune Foundation has built an Old Age Home where we look after the elderly inclusive of Food, Clothing and Shelter for absolutely FREE OF COST.

    Out Reach:
    At present 50 senior citizens are in staying at the old age home with all the basic needs taken care of FREE OF COST.. We have the capacity to go up-to 100.

    Neptune Foundation provides monthly nutritional kits which includes 7kg Rice, 7kg Wheat, 3kg Dal, 2kg Sugar, 1ltr Oil, 200grams Protein powder, 1kg Tea powder and monthly vitamin supplements to 50 patients who are HIV+ve, taking ART treatment from the DAPCU centre, Thane Civil Hospital, Govt. of Maharashtra and are below the poverty line. Registering them with various government schemes like the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Pension Yojana and Bal-Sangopan yojana is one of the highlights of our project

    We do it in association with District Aids Prevention & Control Unit (DAPCU) at the Thane Civil hospital.

    Out Reach:
    We have adopted 55 HIV+ Cases providing them monthly ration giving them the confidence to lead their life positively.
    AIM: To increase the number of Beneficiaries.
