Har Hath Kalam India Association endeavours to create a child-friendly society. Based in Patiala, we engage with children who are a part of vulnerable Read more populations. Through active engagement, we strive to provide holistic learning opportunities to children and the community that they inhabit. We believe that all children, irrespective of their circumstances, deserve a safe, inclusive learning space. Space where they can express themselves freely without the fear of being judged and ridiculed. Space where learning is meaningful, engaging, relevant, and joyful. We envision an environment of empathy and compassion in each and every place /milieu that children are a part of. In pursuit of this, we use art, theatre, storytelling, and play to create spaces for understanding oneself, each other, and the world around us, leading to possibilities for empowerment and compassion with wisdom.


Action

The organization provides safe and nurturing learning spaces for out-of-school children, offering flexible timings and personalized learning with a focus on relevant life skills, vocational training, and Financial Literacy and Numeracy (FLN).

Har Hath Kalam India Association has enrolled around 150 children from the streets to school and has transformed the lives of children like Sandhya, who completed 12th grade and is now pursuing a BSW, and Amit, who became a Community Leader and facilitator.

The mission of Har Hath Kalam India Association is to ensure that no child in India is left without access to quality education and to create a child-friendly society.

Milestones & Track Record

The organization has set up small shops for parents of children to relieve financial burdens, enrolled family members into deaddiction centers, helped obtain Aadhaar and Ration cards, and organized mass awareness events on anti-begging with participation from over 25,000 students and 100,000 citizens.
