While its reach to these institutions remains limited, it has fostered strong partnerships with Government bodies at district and local levels, alongside connections with NGOs across Telangana State. Despite its modest beginnings, RICE's proactive engagement and alliances underscore its dedication to effecting positive change and fostering a culture of cooperation in pursuit of its social objectives.

Impact

The Rural Institute of Centre for Excellence has reached 1,553 students, engaged 74 active volunteers, expanded its reach to 21 schools, and distributed 1,254 bags, showcasing its impactful contributions to education and community development.

  • Education Programme

    The organisation focuses on educational interventions, including infrastructure support and teacher training for STEM and ICT enhancement. Activities involve special classes, and the distribution of uniforms, textbooks, and study materials, to mainstream marginalized children. Initiatives like Akshara Techno School offer free education to underprivileged students, emphasizing a holistic curriculum and fostering personality development. Distribution drives for school uniforms and notebooks further support students' educational needs, demonstrating RICE's commitment to inclusive education and community development.

    The organisation prioritises health initiatives aligned with national policies, focusing on preventive, promotive, and curative care. It implements evidence-based programmes emphasising innovation, sustainability, and community participation. Eye camps provide screenings and treatments, while Arogyadaara distributes homoeopathic medicines for various ailments. Efforts extend to addressing cleft lip and limb problems, organising health camps, promoting backyard gardens for nutrition, and improving sanitation through soak pits and toilets. In response to COVID-19, the organisation provides emergency relief, distributing essentials like groceries, masks, and sanitisers to vulnerable communities, demonstrating its commitment to public health and community well-being.
