Founded in 2013 as a Justice and development agency seeking to work among the most excluded, TFPI has since impacted over 1500 youth through sport and education and rescued over 350 women and children from slavery. Vision Our Vision is for every young person from vulnerable communities in Bengaluru, neighbouring districts of Karnataka and South India to have opportunities to engage in sport, education and skill training, leading to sustainable growth and transformation. Mission The Freedom Project India aims to improve holistic outcomes for children, youth and women from vulnerable communities serving them through programmes promoting football and education, child and women protection, social entrepreneurship, life skill training, coaches and leaders training and development with a focus on youth as agents of change.
Action
The Freedom Project India works to prevent, rescue and restore those vulnerable to trafficking and slavery through community education, a Sports and Mentoring program for at-risk underprivileged boys, an early-learning program for vulnerable children, an investigations team who conduct raids and rescues, and a safe house for women and children who have been rescued.

Milestones & Track Record
In the 2018-2019 reporting period, they achieved: 9 women and 4 children in the safe house, over 50 women rescued from exploitation, 850 students educated about human trafficking and child protection, 750 boys in their sports & mentoring program, over 800 students receiving tuition support, over 2300 attending life skills classes, over 2400 house visits in 9 communities, and 90 boys placed in safe jobs.
