Anukulan actively operates in Delhi and NCR, with a primary goal of improving livelihoods and opportunities through education and skill development. I Read moret empowers disadvantaged and uneducated children, women, and adolescents in vulnerable slums and rural areas. The NGO supports and implements government initiatives such as Swachh Bharat, recycling efforts, the Aaganwadies association, and the mobilization of youth from slums to free training centres under PMVY. Collaborating with the Delhi Police Yuva program, Anukulan conducts awareness campaigns, provides legal aid for women and children, and delivers primary education in slums. Its vision is to address challenges like lack of education, poverty, and illiteracy by reaching out to as many underprivileged individuals as possible, offering education, skill development, and employment opportunities. The mission underscores the delivery of quality education and the empowerment of girls in India through education, employment, counselling, and guidance towards independence. The NGO focuses on eliminating discrimination, ensuring universal access to education, promoting economic rights, and fostering participation in governance and development efforts.

Bring Your Own Bag(BYOB) Programme
BYOB, an environmentally conscious acronym, advocates for 'Bring Your Own Bag.' Emphasizing the principles of refusal, reuse, and recycling, the initiative actively raises awareness in slums about the hazards of single-use plastic. Conducting informative sessions that involve children as impactful change agents, the focus is on fostering a collective understanding of the detrimental effects of single-use plastic on society. Urging the community to bid farewell to plastic, the initiative strives for a cleaner and aesthetically pleasing world.

Urban Waste Reuse Programme
Globally, the conventional approach to resourcing development projects revolves around financial considerations. In contrast, Anukulan focuses on transforming discarded materials into valuable resources, fulfilling fundamental needs for numerous individuals. The initiative recognizes the inherent worth of repurposing old materials to meet the essential requirements of those who depend on them. This sustainable practice not only addresses basic needs but also contributes to a more environmentally conscious and resource-efficient approach to community development.
