Abba Humane Foundation was born out of a clear vision by a group of social workers having more than 3 decades in the field of social development. Thi Read mores committed group of philanthropists who wanted to enhance a positive change in society and keep the learning process burning. Our Vision is to create a just and humane society where every person lives in dignity and harmony. Our Mission is to extend a helping hand to the underprivileged: ie. socioeconomic, educational and psycho-social support to the people in need and distress. The present situation of Youth in India has more than 50% of its population below the age of 25 and more than 65% below the age of 35. In 2020, the average age of an Indian is 29 years, compared to 37 for China and 48 for Japan (Reference: Youth In India, Wikipedia). According to the source, the data are ILO estimates. For the past decade, India's youth unemployment rate has been hovering around the 22 per cent mark. A U-Report poll of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) conducted in India reported that at the peak of the pandemic, around 24.7 crore school children were affected due to the closure. Presently Active in Delhi and Kerala. Abba Foundation has mobilized and linked the beneficiaries to the Youth Resource Center. Social Health education, soft skills, education coaching, Basic English and mentoring for interviews are the inputs for the learners. Two centres are functional at the two locations of Lalbagh and Jailarwala Bagh, East Delhi. Three education coaching, three computers and four Stitching and cutting batches are continued simultaneously at the two youth resource centres.155 school dropout youth got skilled and 46 got employed in 2022.
