An increase in agriculture productivity and non-farm activities are a primary part of rural development. It starts with access to technology, adequate skills development, improvement in educational standards, health and sanitation, financial services and rural infrastructure development and maintenance, which are also important elements of an integrated approach to rural development. Rural Poverty eradication and development are essentially linked to and in fact an important component of sustainable development strategies and objectives. Access to water and other natural resources is one of the main concerns of rural people, especially the rural poor. Vision: Janasakthi Foundation was started with the main aim of reducing inequalities among rural communities, particularly women and children.
