Saans Foundation

SAANS was established as a community-based collective in February 2020 in Chhattisgarh by a group of passionate and committed young individuals. The Read more initiative exists as an officially registered forum for upholding the voice and rights of those who are survivors of trafficking, unsafe migration, exploitation, and abuse. It is purely a community-led group that wants to do good for the people in Chhattisgarh.  The mission of the group is to ensure rights for migrants going out of Chhattisgarh to various parts of India, especially to work in the unorganized sector (brick kiln, carpet industry, stone quarry, etc.). SAANS has decided to work in some of the migration-prone areas of Chhattisgarh namely the districts of Mahasamund, Janjgir-Champa, and Sarangarh-Bilaigarh.  SAANS aims to find and train survivors of human trafficking so that they can fight for their interests and society together. Along with this SAANS also aim to educate & develop leadership capacity in the youth from backward and deprived societies so that they can get basic education & raise their voice for the betterment of their community and their rights.
