  • Short Film Competition

    YGCIndia, in collaboration with Biimbam and DZUM-EIACP (Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Climate Change, New Delhi), has recently launched an innovative initiative aimed at enhancing environmental awareness among the youth. This initiative involves a short film competition, inviting aspiring filmmakers to create films addressing environmental issues. By organizing this competition, a unique platform is provided for young filmmakers to showcase their talent while highlighting crucial environmental concerns. This initiative promotes creativity and serves as a powerful tool to educate and inspire others about the significance of sustainable living.

  • Vallalar Awareness Run

    District

    VAR (Vallalar Awareness Run) is a significant endeavour combating environmental degradation, soil depletion, and water pollution. Typically held from September to mid-October, this event focuses on raising awareness among college students. Participating colleges engage in various competitions, with winning students showcasing their talents during interactive sessions held on campus. The week-long event culminates in a marathon covering 5 kilometres, where students plant trees to create a forest in designated areas, symbolizing their commitment to environmental conservation.
