Programs

  • Shelter Homes

    District

In pursuit of its vision to provide sustainable livelihoods to underprivileged children in shelter homes, the organization implements a holistic education and life-skills support program facilitated by trained volunteers. Across the country, these volunteers deliver engaging lessons encompassing various subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Robotics, Computers, Arts, and Sports, alongside mentoring sessions. Talent festivals, competitions, and field visits enrich the educational experience, while projects in dance, arts, sports, and robotics are balanced with academic subjects. Through this approach, the program aims to empower children with essential life skills and instill a sense of joy and confidence in learning.

  • Socio-Emotional Development Program

In response to the challenges posed by merit-oriented learning and highly competitive environments, Bhumi's Head, Heart & Love (HELO) Program addresses the social and emotional needs of children by integrating social and emotional learning (SEL) into education. The program aims to nurture skills such as developing healthy identities, managing emotions, empathy, building supportive relationships, and making responsible decisions. Through a comprehensive, "whole-school" approach, HELO creates reflective learning spaces for various stakeholders in the education system and provides grade-specific content to enhance SEL competencies. By prioritizing emotional intelligence alongside academic achievement, the program seeks to prepare children for a balanced and resilient future amidst the pressures of modern society.
