Action

Women Empowerment We at Nalam Trust are committed to uncover and transmute the political and socio-economic conditions by empowering the women of our society to fight against poverty. Our first and foremost work is to improve the health and well-being of women and provide them the right to education so that they can take necessary action against any type of abuse or violence. We are associated with several food donations camps. As we believe on the motto that ‘No one should die of starvation’ and on that belief we have taken many initiations of serving free food to families of underprivileged children and their family members in the rural areas. To help the people especially the uneducated, to control the rapid growth of the population through different public awareness programs Climate change awareness training Tackling climate change requires action at all levels of society, from individuals and educators to policymakers and businesses. By fostering awareness, capacity building and innovation climate change learning helps communities and individuals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and effectively adapt to the changing climate. Free Medical Camps We provide free medical camps with a sacred intention to bring awareness amongst the deprived people who have no access to basic healthcare services or knowledge about the diseases they are suffering from. These medical camps make sure people are getting the healthcare at the right time. Tribal development The concept of tribe or tribal social formation was referred by most anthropologist as a stage destined to maneuver toward a far better or more developed stage towards the 'Mainstream' society by means of history within their own political space, promising to vary whatever existed for long. Nalam recognizes the need to support and promote the sustainable development of education for girls and adolescents, empowering women and enabling the development of all resource poor communities.

We have provided necessary educational equipment and materials for the school to the economically backward students and have created worthy students in the society. We provide relief and nutritious food to people affected by HIV. We identify women who have lost their life and livelihood due to the worst (usurious) illegal loans in the society and provide them security and self-employment to empower them in the society. Facilitating higher education and promoting vocational education for deserving poor children to generate sustainable employment and income. We create Women's Self Help Groups and create economic and empowerment for women. Farmer women were trained in the use of modern agricultural implements and modern agricultural implements were provided at subsidized rates.

    INDIVIDUAL ASSETS CREATION FOR WOMEN

Knowing that in rural areas, all properties are usually in the name of men, so women are not able to act to show their power, we are proud that we have created personal property for women through our organization by forming women's self-help groups through our company, in the hope that the creation of personal property for them will gain their power.
