Every year, BGS conducts a free training program for women and artisans to learn handcraft making skills during their spare time. Participants are taught to create various items such as jute bags, slippers, file folders, and beaded work. The objective of these trainings is to provide women with access to different processes and techniques of handicraft production. The program covers topics including an introduction to different designs of jute bags, selection of raw materials, preparation of utility items like shopping bags and purses, and color combination techniques. These skill development programs are beneficial for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to establish jute manufacturing units.
