So, by inspiration and consultation with the Late Mr Krishna Dev Deewan, this organization was established in 1989 for providing every vital service (like education, health, and sustainable agriculture) to small and marginalized families and farmers. But due to the increasing environmental crisis and natural disasters related problems and losses organization was oriented to work towards this crisis. Over the years, SKBVP has evolved into a comprehensive NGO that works in agriculture, food security, livelihood, RMNCH+A, education, disaster mitigation, water & Environment. Since its origin, SKBVP has been engaged with various developmental Programs. The Programs are addressing issues of children, women, youth & unprivileged groups. These Programs are based on community, gender participation & ethical ecological values. Over the years, SKBVP has developed its own working style & culture. SKBVP started as an organization that works for awareness among citizens. With learning over the years, SKBVP has moulded itself in the organization working with a right & advocacy-based approach. SKBVP has conducted several capacity-building & Programs. SKBVP treats all employees equally irrespective of their caste, creed, sex or religion. All employee work harmonically.
